One thing, besides adorable baby chicks, that leads to the general merriment of the household is the constant supply of homemade beer. Right now the beer in bottle count is at 192.

48 of each: Belgian, Hefeweizen, Pale Ale, and Seasonal Brews.

July is going to be a great month.

Rescued Pups

Tony is the guard dog...

... and Oliver is the chicken-herder who helps us get them in their coop.

Luckily, they are nice enough not to try and eat the chickens.

They only eat the chicken poop, which contributes to their noxious gas.
